Thunder sign rookie Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to contract

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl was the latest Thunder rookie to sign his first NBA contract.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed another draft pick. The team announced Tuesday that big Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, selected No. 32, inked his first NBA deal.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, it is a four-year deal worth $8 million.

The Thunder have secured contracts with most of their rookies. The team announced on Sunday that Josh Giddey and Tre Mann, who were selected in the first round, had signed their contracts.

Aaron Wiggins, who was selected with the No. 55 pick, will sign a two-way deal, according to the Oklahoman’s Joe Mussatto.

All four players are on the Thunder’s summer league team. In the opening game, Giddey played five minutes due to an ankle injury and Mann struggled shooting, but Robinson-Earl and Wiggins impressed in their debut.

The Villanova big had 14 points, six rebounds and two steals while the Maryland guard posted 13 points, five rebounds and three steals off the bench.

Oklahoma City hopes this group of rookies can play roles on the team as they work to develop during the first season of play.

The Thunder’s next summer league game is Wednesday at 6 p.m. against the New Orleans Pelicans.
