Thunder rookie Tre Mann to miss rest of Las Vegas Summer League

Mann averaged nine points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, one steal and one blocked shot in two summer league games.

Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Tre Mann will miss the remainder of the Las Vegas Summer League due to a personal matter, the team announced on Thursday.

Mann, who was the 18th pick, averaged nine points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, one steal and one blocked shot in two summer league games. He recorded six points in his debut on Sunday and followed with 12 points, seven assists and six rebounds on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-4 guard was named to the All-SEC first team last season after averaging 16 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals at Florida. He emerged as a strong shooter in college and believes he is the best off of the catch or dribble.

Mann was one of four rookie players the Thunder added in the NBA draft. He joined Josh Giddey (No. 6), Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (32) and Aaron Wiggins (No. 55). The Thunder entered the draft with three first-round picks but opted to trade No. 16 to the Houston Rockets.
