Three things we learned from Ohio State basketball’s defeat of Notre Dame in ACC/Big Ten Challenge

The Ohio State basketball team traveled to Notre Dame and got a win in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Here are three things we learned.

Ohio State can do damage going to the rim this year

It was clear in the second half that the Buckeyes made a concerted effort in taking the ball and getting points going towards the basket. And unlike the last couple of campaigns, this team seems to have the guys to do it.

Between E.J. Liddell, Kyle Young, Justice Sueing, and C.J. Walker, each can find room in the paint, go through contact and finish. OSU scored a whopping 56 points in the second half and it was because it shot a high percentage on some easy looks, and also got points from the free-throw line.

It had everything to do with taking the rock to the rack.
