The Purdue Boilermakers are poised to be a scary team this year with quarterback Jack Plummer healthy, outside threats Amad Anderson Jr. and Rondale Moore and defensive end George Karlaftis anchoring the defense.

Today, though, they received horrible news as their one added game will be against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Boilermakers had a tough schedule already, but now the have an absolute gauntlet to start the season with Michigan, Iowa, Ohio State and Wisconsin being four of their first five games.

A Big Ten West title may not have been on the table for Jeff Brohm’s team, but after today’s schedule release a .500 record might have become their ceiling.
