Brady Manek’s 3-point shot hasn’t been falling nearly like the way he wants to be or like it was early in the season. But, despite only scoring nine points in this game, this performance belongs among his very best of the year.

He was doing everything, crashing the glass in a big way, making great passes and just generally being extremely active and making things happen. His 15 rebounds were both a career-high and also the most by any Oklahoma player this season.

The thing that has killed Manek at times this season and limited his minutes at time has been an inability to help the team if he isn’t scoring in bunches, that couldn’t have been less true in this game. He deserves loads of credit for his showing and it would be incredibly helpful for Lon Kruger’s team if he can continue to make plays like he did on Saturday.
