Oklahoma came into Saturday’s matchup with No. 6 Kansas as a fairly significant underdog even before it was announced they would be without Brady Manek and Jalen Hill.
Despite the adversity, they played their absolute hearts out and very nearly pulled off one of the more memorable wins of the Lon Kruger era. The game was back and forth all the way down the end, but the Jayhawks just made more plays down the stretch to get the win.
Austin Reaves was huge for the Sooners, scoring 20 points to help fill the void of Manek’s absence. David McCormack led things for Kansas with 17.
