Kindley didn’t just make a strong first impression with the Dolphins media during Day 1 with pads, he also drew some praise from teammate Ted Karras, who spoke with the media yesterday after practice.

“It’s been very fun to play next to him. He works really hard and he’s always trying to do the right thing. He’s a great guy to have in the room,” said Karras.

“He’s a cool dude. He really is working hard. We’re going to need him to work hard. He’s a very good football player and I’m excited every time I get to go into battle with him.”

With Karras coming from New England and playing next to some very good guards, that’s a strong endorsement for where Kindley, a 2020 rookie drafted in the 4th-round, could go with more seasoning. The Dolphins traded two 4th-round picks to jump up and draft him, so it is clear the team thought they saw something in him. More good practices with physicality can help him realize that faith the Dolphins had in him.
