ThorSport Racing’s 2023 NASCAR Truck Series season in review

ThorSport Racing had a great year in the NASCAR Truck Series. Here, you can check out the NASCAR team’s 2023 season in review!

[autotag]ThorSport Racing[/autotag] had a great 2023 NASCAR Truck Series season after Ben Rhodes and the No. 99 team secured its second championship in the last three years. The organization didn’t have as much speed compared to 2022 but still found a way to pop champagne in its first year after returning to Ford. It was also highlighted by three of four drivers making the playoffs.

Ty Majeski and Matt Crafton were eliminated before the Championship 4 but had race-winning speed throughout the year. This mostly applied to Majeski, who was really fast to begin the 2023 playoffs. As for Hailie Deegan, she struggled in the No. 13 truck and failed to make the playoffs by a very wide margin. It was undoubtedly very disappointing for Deegan.

In 2024, there won’t be much different outside of Deegan. Jake Garcia, the former driver of the No. 35 truck for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, will take over the entry while everyone else returns for another season. The hope is that Garcia can bring the No. 13 team to life while ThorSport Racing searches for its third Truck Series championship in the last four years.
