Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is looking for his seventh-straight 1,000-yard season in 2020, which would make him the only player ever to begin his career with such a streak.
Things will be made easier this year with Tom Brady under center for the Bucs. While the pair have been hitting the field together at a local Tampa prep school, they’ll look to get in even more work together once training camp begins in a few weeks (we hope).
In the meantime, though, Evans has been working out on his own to get himself ready for the season. The Buccaneers recently posted a video on Instagram of Evans working out, and Tampa Bay’s new quarterback left a comment giving his stamp of approval.
Glad to see Brady appreciating the work Evans is putting in. While Evans will have a shot at history this season, it’ll be Brady who will bear the responsibility of getting him the ball.
No pressure.
