‘This is probably one of the better defensive teams in my career,’ says Celtics’ Jaylen Brown

Despite his youth, he’s already been a part of several defensive juggernauts; is this the best of them?

The Boston Celtics are currently the hottest team in the NBA with a nine-game winning streak and are poised to push it to ten so long as they take care of the Detroit Pistons on their home court of TD Garden Wednesday night.

Their last game, in particular, truly demonstrated just how dangerous the Celtics can be when they play together while moving the ball and playing head coach Ime Udoka’s brand of lockdown team defense. Asked by the media after the 135 – 87 beatdown of the Philadelphia 76ers felt by the press how it felt to be playing high-level, defensive-oriented winning basketball against top opponents, star forward Jaylen Brown didn’t miss a beat.

“It feels great,” related Brown with an air of subtle satisfaction.
