They ultimately decided to divvy up most of the money among three cities: $1.5 million to Jrue’s hometown of Los Angeles and Compton, $1 million to Lauren’s hometown of Indianapolis and $1.5 million to their second home, New Orleans. An additional $1 million will be donated to Black-owned businesses in 10 U.S. cities and $500,000 to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
