Tom Brady and Julian Edelman are not only highly decorated NFL players, but they’re students of the game.
Former New England Patriots tight end Clay Harbor had a short stint with the team, but the work ethic from Brady and Edelman stuck out to him in a major way. Harbor went to Twitter and shared individual stories about each player, and they’re everything you could expect.
His first story was about Brady’s note-taking after 16 years in the league.
When I signed w the Pats in 2016 the first thing I noticed about Tom Brady was how even after 16 years with the same team basically same offense, he was still in the front row of every meeting feverishly taking notes as if he was in algebra class the day before a test. #patriots

He followed up with a quick story about Edelman’s work ethic.
One more observation from my brief stint w the #pats was Julian Edelman’s work ethic. He would pay ball boys hundreds of dollars to get to the facility early before practice to throw him passes before anyone else showed up to just to make sure he was ready for the day. #uncommon

There’s a reason why Brady has six Super Bowl rings and Edelman has three, and this is just one small example. Brady’s been in the league since 2000 and still treats the game like he has more to prove.
