If you’re having a hard time thinking of a game that rivals the incredible battle we just witnessed between the Rams and Bills, you’re probably not alone. For Rams fans, it’s reminiscent of their historic shootout with the Chiefs from 2018. Other than that, no other regular-season game with that level of offense comes to mind.
The Rams somehow outdueled the Bills in a 44-42 victory at SoFi Stadium, by far the best non-playoff game played in that building since it opened. The two teams combined for 902 yards, 86 points and though there was a blocked punt, there wasn’t a single turnover committed by either side.
It was just flat-out clean football and high-powered offenses trading score after score for 60 minutes.
There’s truly never been another NFL game like it. According to ESPN Stats and Info, Rams-Bills is the first game in league history where each team scored at least 40 points with no turnovers.

What’s just as crazy is the Rams never trailed in the game. They were tied, 7-7, after opening drive touchdowns by both teams, but the Rams were never down to the Bills.
Buffalo, on the other hand, trailed by 10 points at three different points in the game and was down by as many as 17 points in the third quarter. The Rams struggled to put the Bills away but they got just enough stops to pull out the win.
Fans in the stands were treated to an absolute show, just as those at home watching on TV were. Perhaps the only people who didn’t enjoy it to the fullest were A) Bills fans and B) anyone who went up against Josh Allen in fantasy.
