2. Drafted at No. 3 by Chargers or Dolphins via trade
There’s no doubt this draft will be one that greatly values quarterbacks. Two teams inside the top-ten that are in need of a new franchise signal caller are the Miami Dolphins and the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers no longer have Phillip Rivers and Miami moved on from Ryan Tannehill ahead of the 2019 season which put them in a transition period.
There have been rumors of Detroit attempting to trade their No. 3 overall pick, which might benefit them more than drafting for a position they already have filled.
Both Miami and Los Angeles seem to be willing to give up a healthy amount to move up the two or three spots respectively.
