Another Buckeye makes his way into our top three in grad transfer Seth Towns. Ohio State needed to bring in a few pieces after losing D.J. CartonLuther Muhammad, and Alonzo Gaffney who all decided to enter the portal. Despite being a graduate transfer, Towns has two years left of eligibility after graduating from Harvard in three years and being held out for the past two years with a devastating knee injury. If graduating from one of the top schools in the world in three years was not impressive enough, watch his Harvard highlight tape. Towns was between Duke and Ohio State in deciding where he would finish his college career, and ultimately chose his hometown Buckeyes.

Towns is coming off of a season-ending knee surgery that took him out of the entire 2019-20 season, and that came on the heels of missing all of 2018-19 with injury. When he was on the floor in 2017-18, we saw glimpses of a star in the making. The Columbus, Ohio native averaged 16 points per game to go along with nearly six rebounds. He is a marksman from deep and shot the ball at a 44.1% clip from the beyond the arc during his final season with the Crimson. The 6-foot-7 swingman will be a difference maker for the Buckeyes next season if he can stay healthy. There are still many questions surrounding a player who has not been on the floor in two seasons, although if what we saw at Harvard was any indication, you should bet on Towns being a major factor in the Big Ten.
