The Steelers should immediately hire former Colts HC Frank Reich

This is a perfect opportunity for the Steelers.

The Indianapolis Colts are cleaning house and on Monday announced they had fired head coach Frank Reich. Reich took over the head coaching job in Indianapolis in 2018 after a successful stretch as offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Chargers.

Reich didn’t pan out as a head coach but he is going to make some team an excellent offensive coordinator. And that team could be the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Matt Canada has been dreadful in implementing his offense in Pittsburgh this season. His playcalling and philosophy meet at an intersection of mundane and absurd and he seems completely oblivious to it all.

Reich worked with former Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers and his offense led the Eagles to a Super Bowl. He would be ideal to work with young stars like Kenny Pickett, Najee Harris and George Pickens.

But I want to pass the question off to you. Is this it opportunity the Steelers have been waiting for or should they just stand pat with Canada for the rest of the season?
