The Sixers were not happy Matisse Thybulle messed up their food order

The Sixers rookie tried his best at providing food for the team ahead of a road trip but didn’t quite meet expectations.

Matisse Thybulle recently found himself in some hot water.

As part of his rookie duties, Thybulle was responsible for feeding his Philadelphia 76ers teammates and it didn’t quite go as planned on the team charter flight.

After picking up the 109-98 win over the Boston Celtics on Thursday, the Sixers hit the road on Friday as they face the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night.

Ahead of the trip, Thybulle was tasked with providing several food options from Chick-fil-A to Popeyes but didn’t nearly get enough for everyone. For example, Thybulle thought six biscuits would work for 20 people…

Fortunately, Tobias Harris was there to document the moment.

Of course, his teammates were having fun with Thybulle after his error.

Since there was such a shortage of biscuits, Kyle O’Quinn even began offering single bites of his biscuit to help spread the wealth. That may have been his biggest assist of the season.

We’re going to guess Thybulle won’t make the same mistake again.
