The Rangers’ Nate Lowe was hilariously fuming after his brother Josh hit a home run for the Rays

Little bro earned some bragging rights.

Monday’s game between the Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Rays had to be a special night for the Lowe household. Brothers Nate and Josh play for the Rangers and Rays, respectively, and have faced each other just two times in their MLB careers before Monday.

Josh earned himself some personal bragging rights in that third meeting.

Batting in the second inning with nobody on and the Rays up a run, Josh hit a home run to right-center field to give Tampa Bay an early two-run lead. But keep an eye on how Nate reacted to his brother’s home run. He wasn’t having any of it at all.

The two brothers made eye contact during the home run trot, and Nate was holding back a smirk as he shook his head. He knew he was going to hear about that home run for a long time. Josh, on the other hand, loved the moment. He was smiling the entire time.

I’m surprised Nate didn’t try to trip Josh around first base honestly.

But even if Josh got the personal bragging rights, Nate and the Rangers got the win after rallying with three straight runs to end the game. He’ll be OK with that.
