6. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys managed to steal Oklahoma receiver CeeDee Lamb with the 17th pick in the 2020 draft, which will be good news for Dak Prescott, who had a nice deep-ball season in 2019. Prescott attempted 17.8% of his passes into tight coverage, which ranked 13th in the league. And on deep throws, he completed 35 of 76 passes for 1,157 yards, 11 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Of course, not all deep interceptions are created equal — Prescott had a couple on late-game Hail Marys, and against the Packers, receiver Amari Cooper flubbed a pass that flew right into the hands of cornerback Jaire Alexander. Adding Lamb to a receiver corps that already includes Cooper and the perennially underrated Michael Gallup should allow Prescott to increase his downfield productivity.
