The Boston Celtics have undergone substantial changes in the past few months, with key trades having been made that make them perhaps the most formidable team in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. Star big man Kristaps Porzingis brings a unique dynamic to the offense with his scoring and versatility on both ends of the court, and veteran point guard Jrue Holiday‘s defensive prowess, shooting, and playmaking abilities are a seamless fit alongside Boston’s All-NBA forwards Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
The Celtics now have a ‘big four’ with Tatum, Brown, Porzingis, and Holiday, and if you add All-Defensive point guard Derrick White alongside veteran forward Al Horford, Boston arguably has the strongest core of any team in the league heading into the 2023-24 season.
