While Kevin Durant is still waiting to be traded elsewhere, the Brooklyn Nets reportedly have no interest in trading sharpshooter Joe Harris.
NBA insider Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports that the organization does not want to trade the lights-out three-point shooter. Harris is one of the best catch-and-shoot players in the league and likely the most consistent on the team if Durant and superstar Kyrie Irving are both shipped.
Lewis reported the following:
“I know the Nets absolutely do not want to trade Joe under any scenario. But there are just thousands of different ways this can play out.”
Even though Joe Harris was injured for most of this season, his value as a young sharpshooter stays high. Harris would be a great role-player for any team that needs to improve their efficiency from behind the perimeter.
The Nets may deal Harris apart of a different trade package but the team really wants to avoid sending Harris off.
