The latest 2024 NFL mock draft from PFF has the Broncos trading up for Drake Maye

This would be SOMETHING!

Hey, it’s after the 2024 Super Bowl! And that means it’s OFFICIALLY NFL DRAFT SEASON! We’ve got the final 2024 NFL Draft order locked in!

So the mock drafts have started coming in, with the focus on quarterbacks. Drake Maye — the QB out of North Carolina — could be the No. 1 overall pick, as he was in our latest NFL mock draft from Christian D’Andrea, But in the latest mock from Pro Football Focus (PFF), he’s taken at No. 2 … by the Denver Broncos. How does that happen? Trevor Sikkema projects a trade of three first-round picks (!) and a second for the No. 2 selection.

Here’s his take:

I believe the market for quarterbacks in this draft will be red hot, and we’ll see that solidify after free agency.

Teams such as the Falcons, Raiders, Broncos and Vikings will all be looking to move up for a quarterback. Here, I have an aggressive Sean Payton moving from No. 12 to No. 2 by giving up the same compensation package the 49ers offered to move up from No. 12 to No. 3 for Trey Lance in 2021.

There you have it! Make sure to check out Christian D’Andrea’s latest NFL mock draft.
