Smith, the Celtics have emerged as favorites to win the 2024 NBA Finals following their own trade for former Bucks guard Jrue Holiday.
The Celtics’ newfound status as favorites is not solely due to the addition of Holiday but also because of their already impressive roster. This move has solidified the Celtics’ position in the Eastern Conference and potentially the entire NBA in Smith’s perspective.
The team’s roster now boasts star players like Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, and Al Horford, making them a formidable force in the league, according to the ESPN analyst.
