For Eagles fans, the pain of knowing the team could’ve taken Justin Jefferson in the 2020 NFL draft instead of Jalen Reagor will always be there.
Especially now that we know they were considering it, but they’d just expected more out of Reagor as a player. And, look — Reagor is fine. But Jefferson? He’s special.
As an Eagles fan myself, I’m unsure if I’ll ever get over this. I almost certainly won’t in the short term. Especially not now.
Why? Because the two are teammates.
The Vikings traded a 2023 7thround pick and a conditional 2024 4th-round pick for the Reagor, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Trade: Eagles are sending WR Jalen Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a 2023 7th-round pick and a 2024 conditional 4th-round pick that would deescalate to a 5th-round pick if certain statistical marks are not met, sources tell ESPN.

That makes Reagor and Jefferson teammates. All I can feel is pain. And if just knowing that wasn’t enough, the video of the Vikings being absolutely stunned the Eagles took Reagor instead of Jefferson has now resurfaced. Again.
Never forget when the Vikings draft room couldn’t believe the Eagles took Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson 😅 @brgridiron
Now the two WRs are on the same team

If this video wasn’t already enough of a reminder, everyone on the internet also decided to point out that THE EAGLES DID NOT PICK JEFFERSON OVER REAGOR.
