The NCAA Tournament has been nothing short of spectacular thus far with all the upsets, and great games. The Michigan and LSU game played out as another great Tournament game on Monday evening.

The Wolverines clawed and ground their way — on the shoulders of some unlikely characters — to a captivating 86-78 win.

The maize and blue had their fair share of mistakes in the game — turnovers and untimely fouls — but, they did a ton of things right as well, which is what made them victorious. Coach Juwan Howard made some great halftime adjustments, and the bench — Chaundee Brown — became a vital role in the Wolverines defeating LSU. Early in the game when the Wolverines were down nine, it seemed like this could be the ghost of the Illinois game, but Michigan kept its head in the game and was resilient.

We have to give the Tigers props, they are a great offensive team. This is one of the faster teams that Michigan will see the whole tournament, and they did a great job against Hunter Dickinson down low. Plenty of double teams sent the young big-man reeling in the first half.[listicle id=34196][listicle id=34196]

We will now dive more into the game and talk about the good, the bad, and the MVP.
