Two years ago, former Ole Miss wide receiver and current Seahawks star D.K. Metcalf wowed NFL fans with his raw athleticism. He posted a 40.5-inch vertical at the combine, ran a 4.33-second 40-yard dash and was rumored to have impossibly low body fat.
Though this year’s NFL Combine is being held remotely at a bunch of pro days, Illinois wide receiver Josh Imatorbhebhe certainly made his case for comparisons to Metcalf’s sheer athleticism.
The dude basically jumped out of the gym.
During Wednesday’s Illinois pro day, Imatorbhebhe broke what would have been an NFL Combine record with a 46.5-inch standing vertical. The 6-foot-2 receiver jumped so high that he actually maxed out the Vertec machine. Watch the video for yourself:

Speed-wise, Imatorbhebhe fell somewhere behind the top receivers in the 4.44-4.50 range. But that leaping ability will be tough to ignore.
I’d say it was a good day 🤷🏾‍♂️ pic.twitter.com/QCUKx2n1tm
