‘The culture of the program is really strong’ Coach Jim Schlossnagle previews the 2024 baseball season

Here’s what Texas A&M Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle had to say during the 2024 season preview.

The spring is for baseball, and we are approaching opening day. The Aggies are ready to welcome McNeese State to Olsen Field on February 16th. Aggieland is excited to see what the 2024 squad will bring to the table. Coach Jim Schlossnagle spent the first few minutes discussing his approach to building his and the program.

“Somebody said the other day to me that you don’t build programs anymore you build teams I don’t think that’s true I think you still you have to have you have to have a core set of beliefs that hey this is how we’re going to operate”
The hot topic of the day was how the pitching will improve and what are some of the things what he’s seen as an improvement standpoint through fall ball.
“I mean if we throw enough strikes like we did in those two fall games if we fill the strike zone up if we continue to do that in the spring then I like I think our pitching will be better than it has been in terms of strike throwing ability and performance. Will it be SEC Elite remains to be seen”
