Considering the 2023 NFL Draft is taking place in Kansas City this year, it was no surprise to see some grandstanding about the city’s recent Super Bowl victory. That being said, not all NFL fans were happy about it.
Ahead of Thursday’s opening round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Roger Goodell took to the stage to begin the proceedings to copious amounts of boos. But before the Carolina Panthers could draft Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce walked on stage to hype up the home Kansas City Chiefs crowd.
And, of course, Mahomes and Kelce brought out the Lombardi Trophy to complete the revelry.
