The Brooklyn Nets have signed Kameron Hankerson and Trey McGowens

The Brooklyn Nets announced on Friday that they have signed guards Kameron Hankerson and Trey McGowens to the roster.

The Brooklyn Nets are in the first week of training camp in preparation for the 2023-24 season, but they are still making additions to the roster.

On Friday, the Nets announced the signings of guards of Kameron Hankerson and Trey McGowens. Most likely, these signings will be to add these players to the Nets’ G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets (LIN).

Hankerson, 25, played for LIN during the 2022-23 season after trying out for the team in October 2022. In 28 games, he averaged 5.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game while shooting 39.9% from the field and 28% from deep. Hankerson played for Brooklyn this summer in the Vegas summer league and played 3.5 minutes per game in four appearances.

McGowens, 23, also played for Brooklyn in the Vegas summer league this summer after playing for Long Island last season. In 23 games played for the Long Island Nets, McGowens averaged 3.7 points and 1.2 rebounds per game while shooting 43.6% from the floor and 25% from three-point land.
