The Boy is back: Titans agree to terms with LB Will Compton

The Boy is back: Will Compton is officially a member of the Titans again.

The Boy is back: the Tennessee Titans and linebacker Will Compton have agreed to terms, the team announced on Thursday.

After getting a tryout with the Titans, ESPN’s Field Yates reported on Wednesday that Tennessee was expected to sign Compton — and that is indeed what happened.

Compton now returns to the same team he played for in 2018. The 30-year-old was a key contributor on special teams that season, and he’s likely heading for the same role, with a chance to get some snaps on defense in a backup role.

Compton spent the 2019 season with the Oakland (now Las Vegas) Raiders, where he played in nine games (four starts).

Along with Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan, Compton is the co-host of the wildly successful “Bussin’ with The Boys” podcast, which was recently picked up by Barstool Sports.
