The Bills’ Khalil Shakir wowed NFL fans with a mystifying game-clinching TD against the Steelers

Still don’t know how he didn’t go down.

Khalil Shakir called game.

With the Buffalo Bills driving to put away the Pittsburgh Steelers in Monday evening’s Wild Card game, Shakir caught what looked like a routine crossing route from quarterback Josh Allen.

But instead of going down on the initial contact from Pittsburgh safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, Shakir shrugged off the tackle, acrobatically maintaining his balance and staying on his feet. He juked out or broke away from several other would-be-tacklers en route to a touchdown to put the Bills up 31-17 and clinch a playoff win in the frigid conditions.

Shakir made just three catches for 31 yards in the game, 17 of which came on that touchdown, but it proved to make a difference after Pittsburgh battled back from a 21-0 deficit to make it a game.

NFL fans were amazed that Shakir managed to stay on his feet to find paydirt.
