Preparation for the 2022 season is underway and the every Big 12 team is looking to improve from last season’s performance.
Baylor has its sights set on making their first College Football Playoff after beating Oklahoma State in the Big 12 championship. The Cowboys are looking to win their first Big 12 title game.
Elsewhere, teams are looking for bounce back seasons. Texas lost an embarrassing seven games last season, and is looking for a year two leap with their new coach. Oklahoma went 10-2, but fell below the expectations they placed on themselves.
Other teams are looking to emerge as title contenders. Kansas State has experienced perhaps its most success since joining the conference, but has not reached those heights recently. TCU will look to bring back the offensive success they enjoyed with former analyst Sonny Dykes taking over as head coach.
