After an 0-2 start to conference action, many questioned if Oklahoma would be able to climb back into the Big 12 title conversation. Well, they have.
The Sooners currently control their destiny to making an appearance in the Big 12 Championship Game for a fourth consecutive year. Wins over Baylor and West Virginia the next two weeks will guarantee themselves a spot in the title game against Iowa State.
Should they get there, they would be taking on the Cyclones in an early kickoff as the Big 12 announced that their title game would once again get things underway at 11:00 a.m. CT on Dec. 19th. ABC will have the broadcast of the game.

The conference’s title game has been played at 11:00 a.m. CT each year since it made its return in 2017, so this is simply the status quo. Although, the Big Ten announcing theirย championship game would also take place at 11:00 a.m. CT on Dec. 19th as well as the SEC moving theirs back from the afternoon into primetime made some question if there was any potential of the game being pushed to a later time slot.
But alas, it’ll be a morning kick once again for whatever two Big 12 schools will collide at AT&T Stadium in a few weeks.
