The Bears signed Andy Dalton to a $10M deal and NFL fans crushed them for it

Yikes.

Bears fans have been praying in recent weeks for the team to somehow work a deal with the Seahawks to bring Russell Wilson to Chicago to save the team’s disastrous QB situation and lead the franchise to a Super Bowl.

Well, on Tuesday the Bears went out and got themselves a QB, but it wasn’t Wilson. Instead… it was Andy Dalton, who they signed to a one-year, $10 million deal with incentives that could bring it to $13 million.

Yikes.

The veteran Dalton, who played in Dallas last year and went 4-5 as a starter after Dak Prescott’s injury, is nowhere near Wilson’s status.

The Bears did apparently try to get Wilson but that’s not happening:
