The AFC Divisional Round is going to be absolutely amazing

Bills-Ravens and Chiefs-Browns are intriguing matches for different reasons.

Sorry to fans of the Steelers and Titans for their losses this weekend, but the AFC playoffs has played out perfectly to give us an electric Divisional Round. With the Browns upsetting the Steelers with a blowout victory, the AFC is locked into the Ravens traveling to Buffalo to take on the Bills, and the Chiefs hosting the Ravens.

Bills-Ravens is the star of the weekend. The Bills were one of the few teams to give Baltimore a test during the 2019 regular season, slowing down Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense to just 24 points and 4.4 yards per play. While the Bills defense is worse than it was a year ago, so is the Ravens offense, Josh Allen and the Bills offense are far better than they were a year ago.

That should make for a riveting matchup against a soaring Ravens defense. Baltimore just held the Titans to 13 points after the Titans averaged 35.3 points per game over their final six games of the season. The Ravens defense is on a bit of a hot streak and will get a chance to faceoff against Allen and Stefon Diggs — arguably the best quarterback and wide receiver duo from the 2020 season.

The game between the Chiefs and the Browns has potential to be fun as well. The Chiefs are going to be heavy favorites to win this game, but the Browns play the perfect style of football to muck it up and push the Chiefs a little bit. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt will create a difficult challenge for the Chiefs’ weak run defense.

Kansas City still has Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, which is why most people will pick them to win the game, but the Browns can actually make this a fight. They’ll need a bit more help from Myles Garrett, who was held to a quiet game against the Steelers.

At least Steelers and Titans fans can watch these excellent games with the rest of us stress free. That’s a win.
