New Orleans’ turn saw them grab Sheldon Rankins, not Michael Thomas with their first-round pick. Sheldon Rankins from Louisville did not start any games as a rookie and is not starting this season on what has become one of the better DLs in the league. That said, he started every game in the seasons sandwiched between. He has rehabbed a torn Achilles suffered in the playoff win over the Eagles. He has one sack in his first seven games back.
