For the second consecutive year, Xavier Worthy has been named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list.
The award is presented annually to college football’s most outstanding receiver. Any FBS player who catches a pass is eligible for the award, including tight ends, running backs, etc.
As a sophomore in 2022, Worthy hauled in 60 receptions for 760 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s expected to raise those numbers as Texas’ primary receiver this upcoming season with the progression of quarterback Quinn Ewers.
The 10 Biletnikoff Award semifinalists will be announced on Nov. 20.
