Texas WR Jordan Whittington is not taking anything for granted

It is clear Jordan Whittington has earned the respect of everyone involved in the program. 

Texas wide receiver Jordan Whittington has suffered from injury after injury over the course of his college career. The senior has been limited to just 13 games throughout his first three years at Texas.

Whittington has finally been able to stay on the field in 2022 and is taking advantage of his opportunity. He has snagged 28 passes for 381 yards on the season. Whittington got into the endzone for the first time in the year against Iowa State last Saturday.

His has been instrumental in Texas’ improvement we have seen so far this season.

Steve Sarkisian and his Longhorns teammates rave about how important of a role Whittington plays both on and off the field. It is clear he has earned the respect of everyone involved in the program.

Whittington spoke about how his experiences dealing with injuries have changed his mindset on the game of football, leaving everything out there for his team.
