Texas Longhorns wide receiver Brennan Eagles went undrafted in the 2021 NFL draft. However, he didn’t have to wait long before finding a team to sign with. Eagles was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys.
Eagles is a 6-foot-4, 229-pound receiver who declared for the draft a year early despite criticisms he wasn’t ready. He spent three seasons at Texas, making a much larger impact in his final two where he caught 60 catches for 991 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Eagles has plenty of size, but he was considered a raw route runner who won most of his catches by being a better one-on-one receiver who overpowered Big 12 cornerbacks.
Eagles will look to become the next member of the Texas Longhorns to join the Cowboys, alongside Conner Williams on the offensive side of the ball, in a crowded and talented receiving group that features Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb.
