Texas Women’s Basketball: BetMGM odds, how to watch the Elite Eight game

First-year head coach Vic Schaefer and his Texas squad are coming off of a thrilling upset over No. 2 Maryland

First-year head coach Vic Schaefer and the Texas women’s basketball team will face No. 1 South Carolina in the Elite Eight on Tuesday.

No. 6 Texas is coming off of a thriller upset over No. 2 Maryland, who was the top scoring offense in the country (91.8 points per game) and riding a 15-game win streak at the time.

Thanks to solid defensive play, the Longhorns squeaked past the Terrapins 64-61 and will now fight to make their first Final Four appearance since 2003. Texas is yet again the underdog heading into this Elite Eight matchup against the top seed in the Hemisfair region.

There’s a special feeling surrounding Schaefer’s squad this season and it’d be silly to count them out after what we’ve witnessed throughout their first three tournament games.
