Texas will be learning the fate of four-star defensive lineman Terrance Green later this month.
Green tweeted on Friday that he will be announcing his commitment on July 30. The top five schools left in his recruitment are Oregon, Texas, Michigan State, Miami and Florida.
The Cypress native is rated the No. 40 defensive lineman in the country and the No. 51 overall prospect in the state of Texas for the 2023 recruiting class, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

As a junior in 2021, Green recorded 40 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He spent several days on the Forty Acres last week for an unofficial visit, but Oregon appears to be emerging as the favorite to land him.
