Texas Report Card: PFF grades from the UTSA game

A look at Texas’ highest and lowest graded players in Week 3.

No. 21 Texas held on to defeat UTSA 41-20 in Week 3.

The Longhorns started the game flat and trailed the Roadrunners 17-7 at one point. The two programs entered halftime tied at 17-17 before Texas ultimately exploded in the second half.

Texas running back Bijan Robinson was the star of the show. He concluded the game with 183 yards rushing and three touchdowns. His 78-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the longest of his collegiate career up to this point.

Pete Kwiatkowski’s defense also exploded in the second half, limiting UTSA to just three points. Texas’ defense forced three punts, one pick-six, and two turnovers on downs in the second half.

As far as Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades from this game, the top performer on offense was running back Roschon Johnson, while linebacker DeMarvion Overshown held that honor on the defensive side. Take a look at which Longhorns graded well, and which ones were on the wrong end of the spectrum.
