Texas re-offers four-star linebacker from California

Steve Sarkisian has been busy on the recruiting trail the last few weeks in terms of re-offering top 2022 prospects.

Steve Sarkisian and his staff have been busy building new relationships with the nation’s top 2022 prospects.

The latest recruit that Texas has re-offered is four-star linebacker Niuafe Tuihalamaka out of Mission Hills, California. He’s widely considered a top-10 prospect from the state and the No. 3 inside linebacker in the 2022 recruiting class according to 247Sports composite.

In 2019, the 6-foot-1, 238-pound athlete recorded a 5.06 time in the 40-yard dash. He’s an extremely physical player and effective blitzer that would fit well in Pete Kwiatkowski’s scheme.

Tuihalamaka has compiled an impressive list of offers including Notre Dame, Penn State, USC, UCLA, LSU, and Florida. Although he originally verbally committed to the USC Trojans in Feb. 2020, Tuihalamaka later retracted his statement and re-opened his recruitment on Jan. 23, 2021.

Take a look at Tuihalamaka’s ratings and highlights below.
