At this point, you’ve probably lost count of how many different players have received recruiting predictions in favor of Texas throughout the month of June.

The latest involves four-star defensive lineman Alex January. On Friday, On3 Sports national recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman entered a 65% confidence prediction in favor of the Longhorns to land January.

January is rated the rated the No. 21 defensive lineman in the country for the 2024 recruiting class, according to On3. Texas has yet to land a defensive lineman for the 2024 cycle but perhaps January is in line to be the first.
