Texas Rangers at Seattle Mariners odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners odds and lines, with expert MLB picks, predictions and best bets.

The Texas Rangers (21-13) play the 2nd contest of a 3-game series with the Seattle Mariners (17-18) Tuesday at T-Mobile Park. First pitch is scheduled for 9:40 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Rangers vs. Mariners odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Rangers lead 1-0. Mariners won the season series 14-5 in 2022.

Texas posted a 2-1 victory Monday, overcoming a 1-0 deficit after the 1st inning by picking up 2 runs in the top of the 7th inning. The Under (7.5) easily cashed, a rarity after seeing the Over go 5-1 in the past 6 contests in the series.

The Mariners are still 6-2 across the past 8 games, and 5-2 in the past 7 inside the AL West. Seattle enters this game 32-14 across the past 46 tries in Game 2 of a series.

Rangers at Mariners picks and predictions

Prediction

Mariners 6, Rangers 3

Moneyline

The MARINERS (-175) are quite expensive on the moneyline, so go lightly. However, this falls right under my personal limit of -180 for a singular bet.

The M’s are 40-18 in the past 58 meetings at T-Mobile Park and have won 36 of their last 51 games overall against Texas.

The Mariners are also 10-2 in the past 12 home games against a left-handed starting pitcher while going 5-2 in the past 7 against division foes.

Run line/Against the spread

The MARINERS -1.5 (+120) failed to win or cover in Monday’s series opener, but they’re still 6-2 across the past 8 games and have covered the run line in 5 of those outings. If you like the M’s to win, you should like them to cover the run line, too.

Over/Under

The OVER 7.5 (-115) is a decent play, as these teams should see a little more offense than the series opener.

The Over is 6-3 in the past 9 games inside the division for the Rangers despite the Under on Monday, and it’s 35-16-3 in the past 54 tries in Game 2 of a series, too. In addition, the total has gone Over at an 11-6-1 clip across the past 18 vs. RHP for the Rangers.

The Over is 7-1 in the past 8 in Game 2 of a series for the Mariners, too, while going 4-2 in the past 6 games overall at home.
