BET TIGERS (-120) because they’ve been steamed up by sharp line movement and Detroit has the starting and relief pitching edge over the Rangers (+100).
The Tigers opened at even-money (+100) and have been bet up to the current number, according to Pregame.com.
Also, Detroit is 3-0 overall this season as favorites with Skubal on the mound and outscoring opponents 7.33-1.33 in those games.
Lastly, Detroit’s bullpen is low-key nasty despite blowing a save Thursday. The Tigers relievers are 4th in WAR, 5th in FIP and 3rd in home runs allowed per 9 innings, per FanGraphs.

The Tigers -1.5 (+170) is a juicy payout but Detroit’s lineup cannot hit right-handed pitching and is 5-10 RL as home favorites. Whereas the Rangers +1.5 (-205) hit left-handed pitching very well and are 16-9 RL as road underdogs.
