Texas continues to place an emphasis on offensive line recruiting.
The Longhorns have sent an offer to TCU offensive tackle commit Trevor Goosby. A three-star prospect out of Melissa High School with major upside at the next level. He received first-team all-district honors during his junior season at tackle. Goosby has picked up 12 offers and expects many more in the near future.
Goosby would be a nice pickup to Texas’ 2023 class which currently ranks No. 28 in the nation with only five commits.
The 6-foot-6, 280-pounder has the frame Texas offensive line coach Kyle Flood looks for in a high school player. He is an impressive athlete for his size and shows the ability to move his feet well.
Texas will attempt to sway Goosby’s commitment away from Big 12 Conference rival TCU. He committed to Sonny Dykes and the Frogs back on April 26.
Here’s a look at Goosby’s film and recruiting profile.
