Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff have been targeting the top prospects from all over the country.
On Monday, four-star outside linebacker Robby Snelling announced that he received an offer from the University of Texas. The Reno, Nevada, native is the No. 8 overall player in the state and the No. 23 player at his position in the 2022 recruiting class according to 247Sports composite rankings.
Numerous Power Five programs have offered Snelling up to this point, including UCLA, Michigan, Notre Dame, Auburn, and Oregon. The 6-3, 200-pound athlete appears ecstatic to receive an offer from Texas and his versatility would fit well with defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatowski’s style of play.
