Texas’ game against Kansas has an updated kickoff time and TV schedule.
The Big 12 announced the Longhorns and Jayhawks will now face off at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN2. Originally, the matchup was at 11 a.m. CT on ESPNU.
Currently, the Texas football program has halted all football operations due to COVID-19. The total number of people who have tested positive is up 11 after Wednesday’s testing per 247Sports. Eight of which are players and three staffers.

A statement was released on Wednesday afternoon about the situation:
“As Texas football continues its COVID-19 testing procedures while closely following all of the medical team’s health and safety protocols, limited outdoor team activities with appropriate precautions will resume on Wednesday.”
According to Horns247, those outdoor team activities will be limited to a walkthrough in preparation for the Kansas matchup. If another practice has to be canceled, Saturday’s matchup may be in serious jeopardy.
Dec. 19 could be a makeup date if COVID-19 shuts down the Dec. 12 date. Neither Texas nor Kansas will be participating in the Big 12 championship scheduled for that day.
