Texas Longhorns move up in Week 2’s AP Poll, but how high?

After dominating the Michigan Wolverines at the Big House, the Texas Longhorns jumped Ohio State into No. 2 in the newest AP Poll.

There was a big shakeup in the US LBM Coaches Poll for Week 2. But the AP Poll had even more changes after wild second week of the season.

Fresh off thumping Big Blue in Ann Arbor, the Texas Longhorns jumped the Ohio State Buckeyes and are now No. 2 in the ranking. The Michigan Wolverines fell seven spots, all the way to No. 17.

The biggest fall in the rankings was the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who were stunned at home by Northern Illinois. The Irish plummeted 13 spots to No. 18. NIU entered the poll this week at No. 25.

The Oregon Ducks, who had a hard time with Boise State, fell two spots to No. 9.
